17.9.10. DR Backup Configuration

• Disaster Recovery Backup can prove to be a new life to your networking system in case of crash or complete damage of system. In this event of an actual disaster, you can use DR backups to recover the complete database on new host by configuring the parameters here.

• Disaster recovery (DR) is planning aiming to protect a network from the effects of negative events. Having a disaster recovery strategy in place enables an network to maintain and resume critical functions following a disruption.

• For Configuration go to Admin Panel >> Other Settings >> DR Backup Configurations

• Click on DR Backup Configurations which opens up a pop-up window to select the IP’s and Ports of the backup server

• RPE Server IP/Port: System will automatically fetch the RPE Server’s IP and other details. In case of multiple RPE Servers connected, information for all will be shown.

• Radius Server IP/Port: This will be the IP of the configured Radius Server for authentication
